As Managing Director of Crow Holdings Industrial, Matt Kurucz leads the firm’s business in Chicago and the Midwest. In this capacity, he oversees site selection and acquisition, entitlements, design, construction, leasing, and project capitalization. Matt joined Crow Holdings Industrial at the beginning of 2018 in conjunction with opening the Chicago regional office.
Prior to joining the firm, Matt was Director of Real Estate Development at The Opus Group, where he was responsible for the leasing and development of more than 3.7 million square feet of Class A industrial space throughout the Chicago market. He also worked at WCCG, a private real estate investment firm in Austin, TX as well as at IDI, Inc. (now IDI Logistics) and First Industrial Realty Trust (NYSE: FR), both in Chicago, IL.
Matt is an active member of the NAIOP National Forum Groups in addition to the local Chicago chapter of NAIOP. He earned a B.S. degree in Finance from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a dual M.B.A and M.S. degree in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver.
