Crow Holdings companies’ development and investment properties are integral parts of the communities that surround them. Multifamily buildings offer high quality, comfortable places to live. Industrial warehouses facilitate the timely flow of goods to consumers. Retail centers provide convenient ways to access essential services that often cannot be replaced by e-commerce. Crow Holdings companies build and invest with a sense of purpose and responsibility, to positively impact their communities, driving social and economic value.
Along with recognizing the social impact of building and investing in communities, the Crow family’s commitment to art, culture and the environment continues to have a meaningful impact on the Dallas community and beyond. Trammell Crow established a legacy recognizing the importance of trees to our environment. He established and was chairman of the National Tree Trust, a foundation designed to mobilize volunteers, promote public awareness and bring corporate and civic institutions together in support of local tree planting. He also co-founded the Texas Trees Foundation. His mantra of “Trees are the answer” lives on today through a Dallas reforestation initiative in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation and Texas Trees Foundation, and Crow Holdings’ enterprise sponsorship of and participation in EarthX, the world's largest Earth Day event.

In 2003, The Trammell Crow Visitor Education Pavilion and Entry Plaza opened at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, a public venue that promotes horticulture, preservation, art, education and research and welcomes more than a million visitors each year.
In 1998, the Crow family opened the Trammell and Margaret Crow Collection of Asian Art as a permanent museum in Dallas to share their love of Asian art and culture with the public. In 2019, the family donated the entire collection to The University of Texas at Dallas to create the Trammell and Margaret Crow Museum of Asian Art of The University of Texas at Dallas. The Crow family also donated a significant endowment which is intended to be used to help fund the design and construction of a second museum on the UT Dallas campus, which will allow for a wider range of the collection to be viewed by the public.
