Michael Genthe is a Managing Director of Trammell Crow Residential. Michael rejoined TCR in 2018. Based in downtown Los Angeles, his responsibilities include executing and sourcing new developments in Los Angeles, Ventura, and portions of Orange County.
Michael worked for TCR’s legacy development company Mill Creek Residential Trust in its Southern California office as a Managing Director of Development from 2011 to 2017. Prior to the formation of MCR, Michael worked for 13 years as a developer for TCR’s Southern California division. Through his 20 years of experience, Michael has successfully entitled, developed, or sold over 4,900 rental homes, approximately 150,000 sq. ft. of commercial space with a combined stabilized market value exceeding $2.4 billion.
Michael received his B.S. in Economics, cum laude, from the University of the Pacific. He also completed the Graduate Diploma Program at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
