Vice President, Fund Management

Position Summary

The Vice President, Fund Management will join CHC’s Fund Management team. This position provides the unique opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the private equity real estate business and support CHC’s successful market-tested strategies in a competitive investment environment. Candidates will be expected to work closely with all functions of CHC, including acting as a liaison between Investment Committee, Investor Relations, General Counsel, Compliance, Asset Management, Analysts and the Fund Administrator.

Primary Responsibilites

  • Collect, review, and analyze various financial reports, including but not limited to balance sheet, income statement, capital account statements, distributions, capital calls, and waterfall calculations
  • Oversee audit, tax, fund administrator, and other outsourced financial activities of the funds
  • Collect and review required SEC reporting for various funds, including Form PF and Form ADV
  • Assist in managing the valuation process of funds
  • Monitoring and oversight of fund performance and projections
  • Perform ad hoc requests and analysis for current and prospective partners
  • Work closely with Compliance to assist Investment Committee, Investor Relations, and Asset Managers in communicating information appropriately to investment partners
  • Work closely with Compliance to assist in establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
  • Support implementation of new software programs to ensure integrity & consistency of fund & property data
  • Identify best-practice and scalable system processes and controls for improved efficiency

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree; Degree in Accounting, CPA
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Microsoft Office suite
  • 6+ years private equity real estate fund experience, preferably with a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) experience with offshore investors a plus
  • Big 4 experience a plus
