Senior Analyst/Associate, Portfolio Management

Position Summary

Crow Holdings Capital seeks an experienced professional to join the portfolio management team. The Portfolio Management team is responsible for portfolio and fund level management and reporting to internal stakeholders, current investors, and prospective investors. The analyst will have the opportunity to assist with various portfolio management related tasks including preparation of investor requests, analysis of investment and fund level performance, research, and benchmarking. The successful candidate will be expected to offer an analytical approach to improve processes and provide useful reporting and insights. A successful candidate will be flexible, accommodating, comfortable interacting with multiple lines of business, and managing their time between a high volume of time-sensitive projects.

Primary Responsibilites

  • Assist with investor requests for portfolio performance at fund and investment level
  • Run performance measurement analytics on existing portfolio as well as conduct what-if analysis for hold/sell scenarios and pipeline investments
  • Establish ownership of quarterly reporting process and marketing materials (pitchbooks)
  • Assist with benchmarking of portfolio performance
  • Liaise with various teams (such as business technology, accounting, asset management) to handle all the matters related to portfolio analytics
  • Assist in researching various real estate markets and preparing white papers
  • Ensure data consistency and coherence
  • Improve processes to make them more efficient
  • Generate business insight through data analytics to aid business decisions

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (business, accounting or finance preferred)
  • 2-5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Subject matter expertise in real estate investments, real estate financial modeling; cash flow valuation and underwriting a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
  • Working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
  • Analyze and interpret various types of data in order to draw conclusions and solve problems
  • Must be detailed oriented and possess strong analytical, due diligence, and problem-solving skills
  • Successfully manage a variety of tasks within a tight time schedule
  • Demonstrate strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Ability to leverage technology and internet to perform all job functions at the highest level
  • Superior oral/written communication skills, demonstrates confidence and enthusiasm
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, proactive, and positive with a can-do attitude
