Position Summary

Crow Holdings Capital seeks an experienced data-driven professional to join the portfolio management team. The Portfolio Management team is responsible for portfolio and fund level management and reporting to internal stakeholders, current investors, and prospective investors. This position is organizationally aligned with the portfolio management team and this individual will be responsible for successfully delivering on critical portfolio management & valuation related projects to support the portfolio management team as well as the broader enterprise. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience working with real estate related data at the portfolio and asset level, as well as working with diverse sets of structured and unstructured datasets and will have the capabilities to successfully organize and maintain critical data for use in running analytics essential to monitor and evaluate the portfolios.

Primary Responsibilites

  • Interacting with the portfolio management team and other internal stakeholders to coordinate and synthesize data and analytics from across the real estate portfolio and working to automate and streamline data sourcing and management
  • Assist with preparing and reviewing investor due diligence requests
  • Assist with running performance measurement and benchmarking analytics on the existing portfolios as well as conduct what-if analysis for hold/sell scenarios and pipeline investments
  • Oversee the data aggregation process and ensure timely and accurate delivery to assist the portfolio management team with the quarterly reporting process and marketing materials (pitchbooks)
  • Act as a liaison between portfolio management, technology, accounting and asset management teams to handle all matters related to data management and ensure data consistency and coherence
  • Identify opportunities for process efficiency improvements, including documenting business requirements for reporting and process changes
  • Coordinating project tasks and streams; developing and maintaining project timelines and management updates; Assist others with leveraging data more effectively by driving training and establishing best practices

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (business, accounting or finance preferred)
  • 3-6 years of relevant industry experience in a data-driven professional setting
  • Subject matter expertise in real estate investment analysis, real estate financial modeling; cash flow valuation and underwriting
  • The ability to effectively work as an individual contributor with minimal oversight and possess strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills; Must also be collaborative and team-oriented, proactive with a positive can-do attitude
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with portfolio reporting, property management systems and debt management systems preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; Working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
  • The candidate is expected to have experience building and working with large data validation files (Pivots, V-Lookups) as well as advanced experience building macros in MS Excel
  • A demonstrated ability to write effectively and summarize large amounts of information succinctly and quickly
  • Must have effective communication skills, as this individual will be working with various groups and stakeholders across the real estate platform; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills verbally and written is a must
  • Excellence in balancing multiple projects and efficiently meet goals in a fast-paced environment
