Crow Holdings Capital seeks an experienced professional to join the Investor Relations and Business Development team. The senior associate/vice president will have the opportunity to support existing and prospective investor relationships by focusing on enhancing client engagement, assisting in managing the fundraising process for new CHC real estate private equity funds, interact with investors through on-going and initial diligence efforts and work closely on managing fund and co-investment closings. Candidate should have prior real estate experience, comfort researching and writing about real estate trends, be detail-oriented, analytical and a self-starter.

Primary Responsibilities


  • Assist in serving as the major point of contact between investors and CHC, including keeping investors informed regarding activities of the funds
  • Assist in responding to existing investor questions, issues, inquiries, and concerns
  • Assist in coordinating, overseeing, and administering presentations and meetings with investors
  • Assist in managing the fundraising process for new vehicles, including diversified value-add fund series, sector-specific vehicles, and co-investments
  • Track investor opportunities and outreach, create summary reports for senior management, and participate in select investor onsite meetings and calls
  • Assist in preparation and review of fund documents (Private Placement Memorandum, Limited Partner Agreement, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Management to perform portfolio analytics and benchmarking, Due Diligence Questionnaires, Requests for Proposals, and various ad-hoc requests to current and potential limited partners
  • Work closely with Legal, Portfolio Management and Compliance to execute fund closings
  • Collaborate with deal teams and portfolio management to answer internal/external requests and monitor portfolio performance, new investments, and pipeline
  • Correspond with investors, media, and other third parties with respect to CHC and its activities
  • Prepare, review, and disseminate approved marketing material such as pitchbooks for new business initiatives and review and have a thorough understanding of the supporting underwriting models
  • Conduct industry research for presentations and help author/edit white papers and editorial content
  • Work closely with placement agents during fundraise
  • Create the annual Investor Relations business plan
  • Evaluate marketing exposure through industry publications, advertisements, and conferences
  • Regularly consult with management with respect to investor questions, concerns, issues, observations, and market opportunities, including consulting with Compliance regarding potential or actual conflicts of interest, complaints, or issues raised by investors

Desired Skills & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree (business or finance preferred), 5+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Knowledge of real estate investments and financial modeling, experience with real estate research and writing
  • Excellent analytical, financial, and quantitative skills, with highest level of attention to detail
  • Superior oral/written communication skills, prior experience interacting with investors a plus
  • Familiarity with Limited Partnership Agreements and Private Placement Memorandums
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point, experience in Salesforce a plus
