Position Summary


Crow Holdings seeks a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking, with specific experience in Cisco technologies, including Cisco Call Manager, VoIP routers, wireless technologies, routing and switching, ISE, and DNAc. The candidate should also have some experience with Palo Alto firewalls. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to maintaining and enhancing the firms network infrastructure.

Primary Responsibilities


  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
  • Configure and manage Cisco Call Manager, ensuring seamless communication services across the organization
  • Implement and manage VoIP routers to facilitate effective and efficient voice and data communication
  • Configure and maintain Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) to support wireless networking needs
  • Manage and troubleshoot routing and switching issues to ensure network stability and performance
  • Manage and troubleshooting Cisco ISE issues to ensure network security and stability
  • Provide support and management for Palo Alto firewalls to enhance network security
  • Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to optimize network operations
  • Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to ensure cohesive and comprehensive network support
  • Maintain documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend and implement improvements

Desired Skills & Experience


  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
  • Required Certification: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
  • Preferred Certification: CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
  • Proven experience with Cisco Call Manager, Cisco ISE, and DNAc
  • Experience with VoIP routers and Cisco WLC
  • Strong knowledge of routing and switching
  • Some experience with Palo Alto firewalls
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of network security principles
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • This position operates in a professional office environment
  • Occasional evening and weekend work may be required
  • Must be able to lift and transport moderately heavy objects, such as switches and UPS devices
