Position Summary
The FP&A team of Crow Holdings is seeking an FP&A Associate to assist with various accounting and finance related functions of the firm. This opportunity is uniquely positioned to gain working knowledge of various business lines across the enterprise. The position is a multifaceted opportunity to apply technical, financial and communication skills, to support the team’s deliverable-based requirements. This data centric role is looking for a professional who works well in both an individual and a team capacity. The position requires exceptional attention to detail and time management in a dynamic and often fast paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide operational and analytical support to the FP&A and Treasury teams including but not limited to:
- Assist with data input requirements and the preparation and reconciliation of quarterly reporting data for strategic investments
- Assist the FP&A team in the bi-annual reporting process for all investments of the enterprise as well as select investments of the shareholders
- Track the strategic taxable transactions of the firm along with organizing the support documentation
- FMV reporting in D365 and application to the FP&A reporting model
- Assist in various ad-hoc projects as needed
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- 2+ years experience executing high accountability work products with high degree of accuracy and timeliness
- Ability to draw insights from data – understand scale of relativity and reasonableness of numbers to tell a business story
- Ability to make decisions based on precedent and be able to solve arising problems using sound professional judgement, experience and research
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Microsoft Office suite (Proficient in PowerPoint)
- Microsoft D365 F&O and Power BI experience is a plus
