Position Summary


Trammell Crow Residential seeks an experienced Division Accounting Manager in the Boca Raton office. The Division Accounting Manager’s primary responsibility is to oversee a small team of accountants that are responsible for the accurate, timely preparation and review of monthly financial results of an assigned portfolio of multi-family or industrial assets. Direct responsibilities include preparing and analyzing monthly operating results, monthly cash forecasting and quarterly budgets for their assigned divisions. This position is responsible for the development of their accounting group as well as partnering with leadership in evaluating standards and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities


  • Interview, hire, train and supervise accounting associates
  • Oversee the activities of the accounting team for the accurate and timely distribution of financial reports, including detailed review of internal and external monthly financial statements, draw packages, annual audits, and tax returns
  • Prepare and report monthly operating results for assigned divisions to Controller for review, including monthly cash forecasting, budget to actual reporting and quarterly business plans
  • Oversee new job set up including budgets, contracts and preparation of closing entries
  • Actively participate in the short- and long-term initiatives of the accounting department, including evaluation of current processes, reporting, documentation and systems
  • Coordinate internal and external audits including correspondence and review
  • Ensure Company income tax compliance through accurate and timely completion of all income tax returns per applicable codes

Desired Skills & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting or related)
  • CPA Preferred
  • 4+ years experience in accounting and financial statement preparation
  • 2+ years supervisory experience preferred
  • Previous experience in real estate, construction or multi-entity structure preferred
