Position Summary


Crow Holdings seeks an experienced benefits manager to support multiple business units. The position provides excellent customer service and supports the needs of all employees, and serves as the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs, including administration of all elements of the company’s health, welfare and savings programs, in such a manner to ensure regulatory compliance of all plans and recordkeeping processes.

Primary Responsibilities


• Provide highest quality customer service to employees, researching and resolving issues including benefit enrollment, family status changes, leaves of absence, salary continuation and carrier/vendor concerns
• Expedite benefit requests, carrier/vendor payments and enrollment materials to minimize coverage lapses for eligible employees
• Work closely with internal and external business partners to align on benefits strategy, negotiate best plan options and rates and audit accuracy of payments and plans
• Coordinate transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration
• Administer benefits plans and processes in compliance with applicable government regulations (federal andstate) and ensure timeliness and accuracy of required compliance reporting and fees
• Coordinate daily benefits processing, including handling enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, and disability
• Manage all 401k accounts including rollovers, QDROs, QMCSOs, distributions, loans, hardships, funding and compliance testing
• Oversee maintenance of employee benefits files and maintain group benefits database
• Gather employee data and oversee the processing of monthly billings and the preparation of payment of administrative fees for all group plans
• Track trends in benefits programs and assist with future benefits design to maintain competitiveness
• Perform plan audits- prepare, collect and organize data for actuarial assessments
• Develop communication tools to enhance understanding of the company’s benefits package
• Design and distribute materials for benefits orientations, open enrollment and summary plan descriptions. Provide training and support to associates across the country
• Effectively manage all leaves of absence, including vetting eligibility in accordance with applicable laws and maintaining appropriate records

Desired Skills & Experience


• Bachelor’s degree and/or CEBS professional designation required
• 5+ years of related benefits or employee benefits administration for multiple entities
• Exceptional customer service orientation, with demonstrated empathy and compassion
• Extraordinary attention to detail
• Ability to demonstrate discretion and care with highly confidential matters
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience working with remote employee populations
• Experience with HRIS and benefits databases; UltiPro (UKG) experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and organization skills; ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while meeting all deadlines
• Strong analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of plan designs and benefits contract language
• Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefits programs, including the ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, workers’ compensation, Medicare/Social Security, COBRA, and DOL requirements
